CDHA Member Benefits

 CDHA is pleased to announce guaranteed, group discounted short term disability, long term disability and life insurance to CDHA members!

What does guaranteed mean? No preexisting conditions and medical evaluations! You only need an active CDHA Membership Card to qualify.
What does group discounted mean? Members receive significant discounts off of the individual policy rates by joining the CDHA group policy.

Exclusive Membership Rights: Only CDHA members may receive CDHA/Local Component benefits. Only members may serve in voluntary and elected positions.

Communications:  CDHA Journal and E-Colleagues Newsletter,   Local components' newsletters  keep members informed at the grass roots level. The 25 local components make CDHA accessible to every member. Local and state officers, in addition to our Sacramento office staff, are available to assist any member with special needs.

Continuing Education: CDHA sponsors scientific sessions in the spring and fall featuring nationally recognized speakers, student table clinics and exhibitors. Local components also sponsor CE programs keeping members current with the state continuing education requirements and informed on the latest developments in the dental hygiene profession.

Employment Referral: Most local components have referral chairs to help bring dental hygiene openings to the attention of member hygienists looking for employment. Members may write to lbdhsjob@gmail.com

Scholarship Assistance: DHAI offers the Cora Ueland Scholarships, awarded annually at the annual House of Delegates meeting. Information on scholarships can be found on the CDHA web site http://cdha.org/student-hygienists
